Chris Brown is been accused of committing a hit-and-run offence.

The Don't Wake Me Up singer reportedly refused to hand over his driver's licence and insurance information when he crashed his Range Rover into the back of a Mercedes at a set of traffic lights in Beverly Hills, California last week and police are now looking into the incident, according to TMZ.

Chris, 24, is still on probation for violently assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, leaving her face battered and bruised, and this alleged hit-and-run could trigger a violation.

However, sources close to the star claim he did nothing wrong. The friends said Chris gave the woman involved in the crash his correct details and when he lawyer attempted to contact her aftewards she hung up on him. Subsequent calls have also reportedly gone unanswered, according to the gossip website.

This is not the first time the Fine China hitmaker - who was en route to a recording studio with his former lover Karrueche Tran - has been involved in a car crash.

In February, Chris wrecked his Porsche 911 after he hurtled into a wall claiming he was cut off by "aggressive" paparazzi photographers in Los Angeles, California.

A spokesman at the time said: "The occupants jumped out, with cameras, and aggressively approached his vehicle. In an effort to remove himself from the situation, he [Chris] began to back down an alley at which point his was cut off by two additional vehicles.

"Chris' vehicle was wrecked due to this aggressive pursuit by the paparazzi."...More

LAS VEGAS (AP) — The last time O.J. Simpson was in a Las Vegas courtroom, he stood next to defense attorney Yale Galanter before being handcuffed and hauled off to prison for up to 33 years.

On Monday, the former football hero returns to Clark County District Court with a different set of lawyers hoping to convince a judge that Galanter shouldn't have been handling his armed robbery-kidnapping case — that the lawyer who was paid nearly $700,000 for Simpson's defense had a personal interest in preventing himself from being identified as a witness to the crimes and so misled Simpson that the former football star deserves a new trial.

"To me, the claims are solid. I don't know how the court can't grant relief," said Patricia Palm, the Simpson appeals lawyer who produced a 94-page petition dissecting Galanter's promises, payments and performance as Simpson's lawyer in the trial that ended with a jury finding Simpson and a co-defendant guilty of 12 felonies.

Galanter declined to comment ahead of his is scheduled testimony.

Of the 22 allegations of conflict-of-interest and ineffective counsel that Palm raised, Clark County District Court Judge Linda Marie Bell has agreed to hear 19.

The five-day proceedings are technically neither a trial nor appeal. There won't be any opening statements. The judge will listen to testimony before deciding whether Simpson deserves a new trial. It's not clear whether Bell will rule immediately.

Simpson now says that Galanter knew ahead of time about his plan to retrieve what he thought were personal mementoes and met with Simpson in Las Vegas to discuss the plan the night before Simpson and five other men confronted two sports memorabilia dealers and a middleman in a cramped casino hotel room in September 2007...More

The Los Angeles Times reports that Lindsay Lohan violated her probation by leaving Morningside Recovery on Thursday, where she was to begin 90 days of court-ordered treatment. Deputy Santa Monica city attorney Terry White said that he learned Lohan spent just a few minutes at the Orange County rehab facility before leaving. "Ms. Lohan is in violation of her probation, that much is clear," said White, who added he didn't know Lohan's whereabouts.

Meanwhile, a source told Us Weekly that she left the facility because "she felt Morningside was not suitable for her. There were too many paparazzi everywhere and she didn't feel safe. Nobody close to her is happy about this. They think she's really not being smart."

Where in the world is Lindsay Lohan?

On Thursday morning, Lohan's attorney Mark Heller told L.A. Superior Court Judge James Dabney that his client was currently checked into rehab at Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, California, and that therapy "is under immediate commencement." However, according to multiple reports, Lohan is not in rehab (SplashNews even photographed the troubled starlet shopping at a Southern California electronics store).

The New York Daily News claims the "Mean Girls" actress is currently on her way to LAX to catch a flight back to New York City.

"If there's credible confirmation she's heading back to New York, then I'm going to have to go in and ask the court to issue a warrant,” Deputy Santa Monica City Attorney Terry White told the publication.

Michael Lohan has confirmed to Radar Online that his daughter already left Morningside: “I have no other choice than to get this out there to help Lindsay.” More
